PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: 28 September 2026

APeel Design is run by Alex. This notice explains how I use personal information when you visit apeel.design or email me.

CONTACTING ME

If you email alex@apeel.design, I receive your email address and anything you include in your message. I use this information to reply, discuss a potential project, and keep a record of our conversation. I rely on my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or on taking steps towards a contract at your request where relevant.

I keep enquiry emails for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless I need to keep particular correspondence longer for an ongoing project or a legal obligation. You do not have to email me, but I cannot reply to an enquiry without your contact details.

VISITING THE WEBSITE

My website hosting provider may process technical information, such as your IP address and access logs, to deliver the site and keep it secure. I rely on my legitimate interest in running a secure website for this purpose. Technical information is retained according to the hosting service’s settings and removed when it is no longer needed for those purposes.

I do not currently use website analytics or advertising trackers. The site may use technologies necessary to operate and secure it. If I add analytics or other tracking in future, I will update this notice and provide any choices required before using them.

SHARING THE TRANSFERS

My website hosting and email providers process information needed to provide their services. I do not sell your personal information. Some providers may process information outside the UK; where that happens, I use the applicable protections required by UK data protection law.

YOUR RIGHTS

You may have rights to access, correct, erase, or restrict the use of your personal information, or to object to its use. Email alex@apeel.design if you would like to make a request or ask how your information is used.

You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

I will update this policy if the website or the way I use information changes.
